Information Security Specialist at Must

Do you want to contribute to a safer Sweden in an uncertain world? The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) is now looking for an information security specialist who wants to help build the security of the future. The changing global situation means that our defense needs to be strengthened, and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) operates within defense intelligence, military intelligence, and military security services.

As an information security specialist at Must, you will work on developing information security within the framework of security protection at a national level. Together with your colleagues, you will design policies, regulations, and other rules within the field of information security. You will stay updated on technological developments and follow our adversaries' methods and approaches to always stay one step ahead. No two days are alike with us. Who You Are

To succeed in this position, you need to be able to switch between long-term work and solving tasks with very short deadlines. A significant part of the work is done in collaboration with others, which places high demands on your ability to create and maintain good relationships. It is important that you have good judgment, a professional demeanor, and high integrity.

Requirements

  • A relevant academic degree for the position, such as in cyber or information security, systems science, or other education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
  • At least three years of professional experience in information security, cybersecurity, or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
  • Good ability to understand and express yourself verbally and in writing in English
  • Driver's license (B)

Meritorious

  • Experience working with security protection
  • Experience in managing information security work, e.g., leading information systems
  • Experience working with the ISO 27000 series, NIST SP 800 series, or equivalent standards
  • Experience in handling matters at a government agency, e.g., complex investigation cases
  • Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISO, or CISM
  • Previous service in the Armed Forces

Other

The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is open to both civilian and military personnel. The workplace is in Stockholm, and the start date is according to agreement. The position involves travel nationally and internationally of varying lengths.

Qualifications must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.
